Canva
I had the awesome opportunity
to work with Canva, collaborating closely with their motion team. My main role was to bring UI interface animations to life, showcasing new features developed by Canva. Additionally, I worked on campaign videos and interactive UI animations like buttons and banners.
Canva hosts two major events, Canva Create and Droptober, to unveil their new products. For these events, I also created animations for keynotes, helping presenters showcase products to both live audiences and online viewers.
Toolkit videos
Another major task was creating "toolkit videos," where we had to animate them to best represent the features. I was also involved in creating storyboards for some UI flows. We received the original UI flows from the product design team and were tasked with creating a simplified version for animation, highlighting only the key features.
Explorations
I conducted experiments with the new Glow Up UI panel buttons to determine how hover effects and micro-interactions should behave before the developers started their coding magic.
Transitions
I was given the challenge of designing transitions for an NFL campaign, showcasing the top 10 features. The catch? Each number had to show its own unique transition style between features!
